Wave attenuator installation for mitigation of erosion protection of sensitive mangrove area.

This floating wave attenuator, finalized in 2012, was designed for 1.5 m waves, 3 m water level variation and 0.5m/s current. Muddy and sloping seabed, installed with 200 SEAFLEX units with 6 hawsers each and with Helix anchors. The total length of the 20 by 5 meter pontoons is 800 meter, and was constructed and installed by Stefanutti Stocks Marine, consultancy by Jarr Marine.
